Jhnny Knoxville kickstarts three all-new SNL episodes on May 7 the futon critic - the web's best primetime television resource: "Rising star Johnny Knoxville hosts the first of three all-new 'Saturday Night Live' episodes on May 7 (Live on NBC, 11:30 p.m. - 1:00 a.m.) with musical guest System of a Down making a rare television appearance.

Knoxville, who makes his first appearance on the show, rapidly gained fame as the creator and star of the controversial MTV series 'Jackass' which later became a blockbuster film. Knoxville has since transitioned to a wide variety of big-screen roles. This summer, Knoxville headlines a trio of films due out this year including this summer's skateboarding film 'Lords of Dogtown' with Heath Ledger and as 'Luke Duke' in the anticipated big screen adaptation of the TV classic 'The Dukes of Hazzard' with Seann William Scott and Jessica Simpson. Knoxville will also star in the Farrelly Brothers' comedy 'The Ringer' in which he poses as a contestant in the Special Olympics to rig the event. Knoxville's other credits include: the John Waters comedy 'A Dirty Shame,' 'Walking Tall' opposite The Rock and 'Men In Black 2.'"

Will Lachey duke it out with Knoxville? National Post: "While Jessica Simpson is down in Louisiana, looking fabulous in her Daisy Dukes while shooting The Dukes of Hazzard, there have been a lot of rumours about her and co-star Johnny Knoxville.

So I'm guessing it's not a coincidence that Mr. Jessica, Nick Lachey has decided he needs to spend some time in Baton Rouge, not far from the movie set. Also guessing that is Jeannette Walls of MSNBC, who first reported this item. She says, 'Lachey has been flying associates to Baton Rouge to work with him.'"

On-Set Interview - Johnny Knoxville for "The Dukes of Hazzard" On-Set Interview - Johnny Knoxville for "The Dukes of Hazzard": "After my experience in the backwoods of The Dukes of Hazzard set, and with two weeks left in shooting the unit publicist John Pasani (hope I spelled his last name right) took us to two more locations. The first location was Cooter's garage, which is an existing garage into 'Cooter's Rebel Repair.' So what we saw was the real deal none of this was built. The garage looked like any other that I've seen before back in NYC, especially if you live by SHEA STADIUM, that's like junkyard city. Cooter's garage had cars that were in repair most of the ones I saw were from the film, we were told that the final shoot would take place here.

After our visit at Cooter's garage, we took a long drive to the Duke's family farm. This was an actual farm and just like Cooter's garage nothing here was built. We took a ride (like the tram ride you take at Universal Studios) around the barns and houses, we were told that Wonder Woman herself Lynda Carter was in the film and that her character is Pauline. Shortly after our grand tour of the farm we were then taken to this old abandon car dealership that the studio was using as the production offices. Here we got to see Daisy Dukes white jeep and a slew of banged wrecked you name it General Lee's. After our quick little pit stop we went to the production offices and talk with Johnny Knoxville and Jessica Simpson.

The Dukes Of Hazzard Site, with Johnny Knoxville, is live The Dukes Of Hazzard Site Is Live! - Insomniac Mania: "Warner Brothers have officially launched the website for new movie 'The Dukes of Hazzard'. The website is a little low on content on the moment and just features buddy icons and wallpapaers of the main characters including Johnny Knoxville as Luke Duke, Seann William Scott as Bo, Jessica Simpson as Daisy Dukes, Burt Reynolds as Boss Hogg, Willie Nelson as Uncle Jesse and the General Lee.

Hopefully they're put some more interesting items there closer to the film's release!"

An extract from the article reads:

Voiceover: 'The countdown has begun. To the movie event of the summer. And it can only be described with one word.' (On screen are numbers being counted down with black numbers with orange background. Like the Old General Lee font on the side of the car). On screen: Yee Hah Voice screaming: 'Yeeee Hahhh'. Shot of the General Lee (the Dukes of Hazzard's Car) jumping over a ravine.

Johnny Knoxville and Seann William Scott turning around laughing.

Voiceover: 'This summer the Dukes are back!' The car spins around and comes to a spot next to a cop car.

Knoxville to cop: 'You all think you can catch me now?' He drops the handcuffs on the road and they speed off. Various scenes of the General Lee racing around, two cop cars crash.

Johnny Knoxville looks at Seann William Scott as says: 'Oh Dear'.

On-Location Interview: Johnny Knoxville FilmForce: On-Location Interview: Johnny Knoxville: "Just back from watching Seann William Scott in The General Lee power past a horde of wailing police cars, Internet journalists are sitting in the The Dukes of Hazzard production office. We set up some chairs in an empty conference room. Borrowed a few chairs from here and there. And in getting them together, one of the offices has a TV monitor showing repeated clips of The General Lee in action during a rally race. The angle is low and the cars are fast, lots of dust.

Johnny Knoxville arrives for the interview sparked by the purchase of a new magazine, Big Black Butt. He tosses it on the table, shaking his head in apparent disbelief that the magazine actually exists. Within its pages are some of the most audacious photos. In Knoxville's world, it just doesn't get any better than this.

Johnny ditches Lindsay San Francisco Examiner: Columnists: "A source on the set of Lindsay Lohan's latest film, 'Just My Luck,' told the New York Daily News that Lohan isn't speaking to Johnny Knoxville, who is filming 'The Dukes of Hazzard' remake nearby, because he ditched her outside a New Orleans nightclub. Apparently, Lohan couldn't get in because she's underage, so Knoxville and his buddies went in without her and left Lohan standing outside by herself."
Jackass star Johnny Knoxville has no problem performing crazy stunts, what will he think of next?
